There are a few different ways to enter a studio in Async, depending on whether you’re joining as the host or a guest.
Entering a studio as a host
As the host, you can enter the studio in several ways:
From Studios
Click Create.
Go to the Studios tab.
Click Enter studio.
From Recording
From the homepage, click Create.
Select Recording.
Choose the type of recording you want to do.
This will automatically take you into your default studio.
From the homepage
You can also click Record a podcast directly from the homepage.
Inviting guests from inside the studio
We usually recommend scheduling recordings in advance, but you can also invite guests directly from the studio.
Before entering the studio
While you’re still on the join page:
Click Invite at the top of the screen.
Choose whether you want to:
copy the studio link
or invite by email
Inside the studio
Before recording starts
If the recording has not started yet, you can invite guests from the right side of the studio by:
copying the studio link
or clicking Invite by email
After recording starts
If the recording is already in progress:
Click Invite next to the End button in the top-right corner.
Choose whether you want to:
copy the studio link
or invite by email
Entering a studio as a guest
As a guest, you may receive the studio link by email or directly from the host. The link will look something like this:
To join the studio
Open the studio link.
Enter your:
display name
role (if applicable)
whether you are using headphones
Click Enter Studio.
Wait for the host to admit you into the session.

We always recommend using headphones for the best recording quality.
Hosts can invite guests before or during the recording session.
If you are joining as a guest, make sure to enter the correct display name so the host can recognize you easily.
