What is Text to content and how do I use it?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Text to Content lets you turn written text into an audio podcast using AI voices. You can generate content from a topic, paste your own script, or upload files, then customize voices, refine the text, and export the audio just like any other podcast project.

Getting started

You can create content in several ways:

  • Use the homepage chat and enter a topic

    Text to content chat
  • Click Text to Content and type your idea directly

  • Paste your own script

  • Upload a PDF, or import text from Google Drive or Dropbox

  • Use Create with AI to automatically generate content

Once you provide your topic or text, Async generates podcast-ready audio using AI voices or your cloned voice.

Editing your content

After the text is generated, you can edit it manually or refine it using AI tools.

You’ll see your total character count in the top-right corner, along with the total character count for the full script in the bottom-right corner.

To adjust voices:

  • Use Voices in the right panel to apply changes to the entire document

  • Click the voice icon within a paragraph to apply voice changes only to that paragraph

Stability:

  • High stability: Calm, steady, and more monotone delivery

  • Lower stability: More expressive and natural intonation.

Saving and accessing files

When a new file is created, it appears in the left sidebar. To save it for later use, select Export → Save to My Files. Saved files will be available in My Files and can be accessed from both the Audio and Video editors. You can also go directly to Audio/Video editors from Text to content to continue editing.

Regenerate sections

You can regenerate content at any time:

  • Regeneration works at the sentence or paragraph level

  • Select the section and click Regenerate to create a new version without affecting the rest of the script

Exporting your podcast

Export your podcast the same way as any other audio project. Choose your preferred format and download when ready.

💥Tips & Tricks💥

  • Higher stability works best for narration and educational content
