How to add real-time audio effects?

You can add real-time audio effects to your audio and video directly from the editor. These effects help you improve, clean up, or creatively adjust the sound of your audio.

You can add multiple effects and combine them to create the sound you want.

You can also choose from preset effect combinations. Presets apply multiple audio effects at once using predefined values and parameters. The individual effects included in a preset are applied automatically in the background, so you don’t need to configure each one separately.

After applying a preset, you can continue adding individual effects on top of it for further customization.

If you want to use the same audio settings across every clip on a track, select Apply to track.

This applies the complete audio effect configuration to all clips on that track, including:

Use the Equalizer to adjust different frequency ranges in your audio. This can help make voices sound clearer, reduce muddiness, or boost certain tones.

Use the Compressor to balance your audio volume. It helps reduce very loud parts and bring quieter parts closer in level, making the overall sound more even and professional.

Use Reverb to add space or echo-like ambience to your audio. This can make the sound feel like it was recorded in a larger room, hall, or studio-style environment.

Use Delay to create a repeating echo effect. This is useful for creative sound design, music, or adding a stylized effect to certain parts of your audio.

Use Chorus to make audio sound fuller or layered. It can create the impression of multiple voices or instruments playing together.

Use Flanger to add a sweeping, wavy sound effect. This is mostly used for creative or dramatic audio effects rather than standard voice cleanup.

Use Saturation to add warmth, richness, or slight distortion to your audio. It can make voices or music sound fuller and more energetic.

Use De-Esser to reduce harsh “s” sounds in speech. This is especially helpful for voice recordings, podcasts, interviews, and narration.

Use Pitch to raise or lower the tone of your audio. This can be used for creative voice effects or to adjust how high or low a sound feels.

Once your effects are applied, you can continue editing your project and add or adjust additional effects as needed.

If you’ve applied multiple effects or a preset to an entire track and want to start over, you can reset the track using an empty clip configuration.
