Async makes it easy to create AI content right from the Video Editor.
When you open the editor, the AI chat opens automatically and gives you different ways to start creating. You can use it to generate images, videos, and audio, all in one place.
If you already know what you want to make, you can start with a prompt right away. If you want help choosing a model first, you can click Explore models to browse your options.
What can you generate?

This makes it easy to move from idea to asset without switching between different tools.
How to generate AI content
Open the Video Editor.
The AI chat will open automatically.
Enter a prompt describing what you want to generate.
Click Generate to create your content.
Or you can upload a photo or a video. If you are uploading a video, it will be uploaded to the project first. Once it’s on the timeline, you can select it to start working on it in the chat.
If you’re not sure where to begin, click Explore models first. From there, you can choose the type of content you want to create and look through the available models.
Explore models
Different models are designed for different kinds of creative work. Some are better for speed, while others are better for realism, readable text, or keeping the same character or subject consistent across multiple assets.
Here are a few examples:
FLUX.2 is a strong choice when you need visual consistency across multiple images, like keeping the same character, spokesperson, or product look throughout a campaign.
Gemini Image works especially well for images that include readable text, such as posters, labels, signs, or graphics with typography.
Hailuo is a great option for cinematic short-form video generation.
Veo 3 / 3.1 is useful when you want both video and audio generated together.
A simple way to choose is to start with the type of content you want to create, then test a couple of models to see which result fits your project best.

From there, you can get a feel for the available options and pick a model based on what matters most for your project. The chat can also suggest models based on the type of content you are planning to create.

Start simple. Ask the chat in simple wording what kind of content you want to create.
Add details step by step. If the first result isn’t quite right, refine your prompt with more direction around style, mood, setting, or format.
Match the model to the task. If you need readable text in an image, choose a model that handles typography well. If you need cinematic video, start with a video-focused model.
Use Explore models when you’re unsure. It’s the fastest way to understand what each model is best at and find a good starting point.
Experiment freely. Sometimes a small change in wording can make a big difference in the final result.
