Blend Mode lets you control how one visual layer interacts with the layers underneath it.
Instead of simply placing one image, video, or element on top of another, Blend Modes combine the colors and brightness of the layers to create different visual effects.
You can use Blend Modes to create overlays, add textures, blend multiple visuals together, or achieve more creative effects in your video.
How to use Blend Mode
Open your project in the Video Editor.
Select the visual you want to edit from the canvas or timeline.
From the toolbar on the right, click on Basic and find Blend Mode.
Click the Blend Mode dropdown to see the available options.
Choose a Blend Mode to apply it to your selected visual.
Try different options until you find the effect that works best for your project.
The effect is applied automatically, so you can preview how each Blend Mode looks as you switch between them.
