How do I record in Async Creator?

Async Creator offers multiple ways to record your content. You can record directly in the Audio Editor or create video/audio podcasts remotely—either solo or with guests. 

Record audio directly in a project

If you want to record straight into an audio project:

  1. Click Create.

  2. Go to Audio and voice and select Audio project.

  3. Click Record Audio to start recording.

If you want to record in an existing project:

  1. Open the project.

  2. Click the Record button in the top menu.

Create a new recording session

If you want to start a dedicated recording session:

  1. From the homepage, click Create.

  2. Select Recording.

  3. Choose the type of recording you want:

    • audio

    • video

    • record with others

    • record with screen

Recording

If you already have a Studio, you’ll be taken to your default studio to begin. If you don’t have a studio yet, you’ll be prompted to create one first.


Before entering the studio:

  • name your recording

  • select the correct microphone and camera

  • choose whether you’re using headphones

  • click Enter Studio

Starting your recording:

Solo recording

If you’re recording on your own, just click Record once you’re inside the studio.

Recording with guests

If you’re recording with guests, you have two options:

If your session is scheduled, you’ll receive notifications when guests join. You can also control who enters by using

Once everyone has joined, click Record to begin.


Managing your recording session:

While recording, you can:

  • pause the recording by clicking Stop

  • resume by clicking Record again

  • review clips before finalizing the session

Each time you stop and restart, the recording will be saved as a separate clip.

When you’re done, click End Session. Your recording will be saved under the Recording tab on the homepage.

  • Use Google Chrome for the best experience.

  • Avoid Incognito or Private mode.

  • Make sure you only have one Async Creator tab open while recording.
